Upcycled chocolate box
Hello crafty folks🤓 Finally made a blogspot for my crazy crafty ideas I have this habit of collecting anything and everything that can be turned into something useful and pretty later which boils down to me being called a garbage collector by my family😜. Today I shall alter a chocolate box that was sitting with me for quite some time into a pretty little gift box for a cutie little girl's birthday. I start with a coat of gesso all over the box and let it dry. Once dry I stenciled the wordings and a few floral design with modelling paste .Once it dried..I played with different colors and colour splash till I get a desired background. Now to add some layers on it ,I stenciled a few designs with gesso and it sure pops out and make the box livelier.A few stamps here and there,sentiments ,butterflies,flowers and leaves as embellishment neatly placed on top of the box.Gave a finishing with washitapes and laces.and a button with flower to open the box.For that glimmer I used si...
